I fell in love with photographing weddings 12 years ago in Puerto Rico, and since then I’ve honed not only my craft but also a philosophy: every couple deserves to feel like their story is the most important in the world – because to me, it is.

What we do

My name is Giovanni, though everyone calls me Gio. I’ve been happily married for almost 10 years and have 2 rambunctious boys that keep my wife and I busy, though I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ve had a passion for photography that started when I received my first camera, a Polaroid 600 Instant film camera, when I was around 8 years old. From that point on, I was always the friend who brought his camera everywhere. I was part of the yearbook club, took portraits of friends, and took photography classes in college. 12 years ago, I traveled to Puerto Rico to attend my best friend’s wedding. The day before the wedding, their photographer fell through and I was asked to be their wedding photographer. Although I was very comfortable with photography, I had never photographed a wedding and knowing the importance of this responsibility terrified me. I took on the task and amid the nervousness and chaos of the day, I fell in love with what I experienced. It is a great honor to be present in such an important day in someone’s life and be the one to capture that for them to experience every time they look through their wedding album. 12 years and nearly 20 weddings later, my love for the art has only grown.
